On Monday 27th January, the school choir travelled to the Birmingham NEC Resorts Arena to take part in the Young Voices 2020 massed choir performance. The choir spent the afternoon in a huge arena rehearsal with 6000 other primary school children before performing a very special concert for parents in the evening.
The children were joined by special guests including The Shires and Tony Hadley. There were some amazing dancers on the stage and the whole experience was very much like an enormous, interactive pop concert!
The concert supports the charity the Teenage Cancer Trust and we were proud to do our part to support this very important work.
It was very exciting and extremely tiring! The children all behaved beautifully and gave their very best to the performance. Huge thanks goes to Miss Bartlett for organising this event and preparing the children for the concert and to Mrs Clements who accompanied the trip as a First Aider and volunteer.
