Year Six go to the Longborough Opera!

On Thursday 21st May, Year 6 were invited to the Longborough Opera to see the first half of ‘Anna Bolena’. The children had already spent a day working with some of the opera company on the story of ‘Anna Bolena’ and were ready to experience what a real opera is like!

The first half of the play lasted around 90 minutes. It was challenging to watch but it was a worthwhile experience for everyone. Many thanks to Mrs Durbin who gave up her afternoon off to enable the trip to happen and to everyone who helped by sharing lifts home.
