Last week, the whole school enjoyed ‘Worship Week’; an annual event where we re-visit our special Christian story about the good shepherd and the lost sheep. The week began with an assembly to share the story which shapes our school vision. The children then worked on a variety of projects over the week including writing mini guides to becoming a ‘good shepherd’, creating special prayers for the classrooms and decorating a wonderful array of decorated discs to add to our reflection space at the bottom of the field.
On Wednesday, KS2 had the privilege of visiting a Gurdwara in Leamington Spa and, in the afternoon, Mrs Collard and a team of helpers created a special prayer space in The Dell. All four classes were invited to visit the space which was run by a mixture of school staff and some local volunteers. There were chances to reflect on the past as well as look forward to the future. It was a really special afternoon and a wonderfully refreshing week to celebrate our established school vision.
