The Reception children visit Hook Norton Library

posted in: Meadow, Reading, School News | 0

This year we have arranged a series of visits for each year group, from Reception to Year 4, to visit Hook Norton Library. The aim of the visits is to show children the joy that can be found in our libraries and highlight the different activities and resources that are available for them as library members.

The Reception children had a wonderful afternoon of storytelling and songs with the librarian as well as a chance to browse and enjoy books in the library.

We would strongly encourage you to join a local library with your child and  make use of them to foster a life-long love of reading. There are some application forms at school if you need one – it’s all completely free and the benefits are enormous.
