On Saturday, it was the Great Rollright Village Fete and Dog Show. This annual event is organised by ‘The Friends of Rollright’ and is eagerly anticipated by the school as well as the wider village community.
This year did not disappoint! It was a lovely sunny day and the fete buzzed with music, dancing, competitions, stalls and lots of lovely food! The event began with a tribute to her Royal Highness Queen Elizabeth II and then a respectful and very pleasant day was had by all!
A huge thank you must go the small group of amazing parents who organised this event and also to everyone who stepped up to set up, run stalls and generally support the committee to make it such a great day. The money raised by the fete goes to fund school trips, extra lessons like music and yoga and lots of our wonderful resources which are enjoyed by all of the children. We are extremely grateful to ‘The Friends’ and would encourage you to continue to support their work over the coming year.
