On Thursday, 23rd March at 2.30pm the whole school downed their pens and pencils and picked up cloths and brooms to take part in the national ‘Big School Clean 2023’. There then followed an extremely busy half an hour where everyone threw themselves into the task of improving the school environment. There were children outside looking for litter, cleaning the PE shed and sweeping the outdoor area whilst inside school rubbish was sorted, walls and sills were wiped and windows were cleaned. It was a great effort from everyone and most children thoroughly enjoyed themselves so don’t be afraid to try this at home!
