The week beginning 21st June marked the start of our annual ‘Wellbeing week’.
On Tuesday we were visited by Skip2tobefit – an organisation dedicated to supporting children to improve their fitness. Every child in the school took part in a skipping workshop and then finished off by completing the two-minute skipping challenge. With skipping ropes which count every turn, the children were encouraged to practise and work on improving their personal best.
We hope to make the skipping challenge a weekly event and encourage our children to stretch and challenge themselves to improve. By working on our health and wellbeing we know that performance in the classroom is also enhanced.
