As a school, we were recently invited to create a shared piece of art work to be shown at this year’s Kingham Sculpture trail.
Under the organisation of Mrs Tomlinson, each class produced a mosaic board to represent one of our school values.
Th mosaics were delivered to Kingham last week, just in time for the exhibition to open to the public. As a special treat, three children who have been noted for their excellent attitude to learning, were selected from each class to go and visit the gardens and view our amazing work!
It was a lovely visit and everyone enjoyed wandering around and finding sculptures to admire.
We were very impressed to see that our mosaic boards had been positioned at the entrance to the exhibition so that everyone can see them. When the exhibition is over, we hope to display the mosaics within our own school ‘reflection garden’.
The Kingham Sculpture Exhibition is open to the public from the 1st – 9th May from 10am-5pm daily. Entry is free but tickets must be pre-booked using the website.
Please do visit with your families if possible – and look out for the Rollright works of art!
