On Wednesday, 18th May, the whole school visited the exhibition, ‘Sculpture at Kingham Lodge’ to enjoy a lovely sunny morning of walking through beautiful grounds and viewing an amazing array of sculptures.
The visit began with a trip to see the installation which was made by Oxford Brookes University with the help of our children. The PGCE students took some of the plasticine figures made by Great Rollright and used them to create a sculpture which symbolizes the freedom of childhood.
The children then enjoyed wandering through the grounds to see some of the amazing art work on display.
We are very grateful to Kingham Lodge for all of the help they give to support the development of Art within our school. Please do go to visit the exhibition if you can.
