On Friday, 10th November, the whole school visited St. Andrew’s Church for a short Remembrance Day reflection.
Each class made a shared wreath to honour those who have given their lives in wars, past and present. Some of the older children shaped the experience by speaking about the reasons why we must always remember at this time. Poems were shared and a 2 minute silence was held by all before the reflection ended with a prayer. Some of our children wore their special group uniforms which was lovely to see. A group of children brough the wreaths to the front of the church where they were left as a tribute to the fallen.
