As a school, we LOVE reading! We read to the children every day and celebrate it in school as much as possible. Last term, KS2 children completed a ‘reading for pleasure’ survey – see some of the key findings below!
88% of children said they either loved or liked reading.
64% of children considered themselves a ‘very good’ or ‘good’ reader.
67% of children said they read with someone at home.
96% of children said they love it when their teacher reads aloud.
