Parading in Easter bonnets and hunting for eggs!

After the church service and whilst the sun continued to shine, the whole school set off on the annual Easter Bonnet Parade around the village. The children looked absolutely splendid in their wonderful bonnets and lots of parents came to support them as they paraded in pairs along the route.

On returning to school, it was time for the Easter Egg Hunt. Thanks to the hard work of the ‘Friends of Rollright’, hundreds of tiny eggs had been hidden all over the school playground and field for the children to find. When all of the eggs had been collected, every child enjoyed an Easter cake and a well deserved drink before the rain started and the fun was cut short as everyone ran inside to stay dry.

A huge thank you to the ladies who sorted the eggs and provided the refreshments – it was a huge task and we couldn’t have done it without you!
