Current vacancy – Class Teaching Assistant Year 3/4 – from September 2023

We are looking to appoint a calm, patient and enthusiastic teaching assistant for our Year 3/4 class beginning in September 2023. The successful candidate will work as part of a very supportive classroom team working 1:1 as well as with small groups. The position includes a lunchtime supervision role (3 days) and could offer additional hours to run our before/after school care club, dependent on experience.

We are prepared to consider both experienced teaching assistants and those who may be looking to begin a career in school although previous experience of providing 1:1 support within a mainstream setting would be beneficial as would general teaching assistant experience.

Great Rollright School takes the safeguarding of children very seriously. The successful applicant will have to undergo a DBS check and references will be required in line with our Safer Recruitment and Safeguarding Policies.
