Our Easter Service at St. Andrew’s Church

On the last day of the Spring term, the whole school gathered at St. Andrew’s church to celebrate Easter.

The children designed much of the service with The Meadow Class signing and singing, ‘What a wonderful world’, The Woodland performing the Easter story in verse and some of The Mountains Class reciting poems they had written by choice and leading the congregation in their own prayers, written specially for the occasion.

This service was also an opportunity to award the House Cup and present individual children with special ‘golden awards’ and ‘always breakfast’ invitations.

The service ended with the children each receiving a special Easter bunny thanks to generous fundraising efforts of Mr Peters in the village.

It was a very fitting end to a very busy and successful term at Rollright.
