Off to Hooke Court 2024 – Monday!

On Monday, 10th June, The Mountains Class set off for a week of fun and adventure in Dorset.

After a long coach journey, the first stop was Stonehenge. Everyone enjoyed a picnic and then jumped on the special bus to visit the monument.

As the stones came into view, the sun came out and everyone got to admire the ancient stone circle by walking around the perimeter. There was also time to walk around the replica houses and visit the Stonehenge exhibition.

After a great stop, everyone got back on the coach and the journey to Hooke Court was completed. On arrival, everyone was allocated their rooms and set about making themselves at home.

Dinner was tomato pasta, garlic bread and crumble and custard and everyone tucked in hungrily. The evening activity was all about team work and solving challenges. The Mountains Class had to work together to move tennis balls in guttering, move along planks of wood and cross a playground using stepping stones.

The evening finished with a story session in the lounge before everyone retired to bed to get a good night’s sleep.
