On Wednesday, 30th June, The Ocean Class set off for a three day trip to Cornbury Park in Charlbury to experience the fun of Bushcraft.
After walking into camp, everyone was divided into two tribes and set to work building and lighting camp fires. It was hard work but eventually we had two fires cooking burgers for lunch.
After lunch, the tribes built two large shelters and added accessories to them. The designs were amazing!
During the afternoon we decorated our faces with camouflage paints and played some hiding games in the forest.
In the evening, there were campfire songs, games and toasting marshmallows to makes smores.
The day finished with hot chocolate and a story and then everyone went off to their tents to settle down for the night.
