On Wednesday we held a whole school Maths Day where all of the children were set tasks and challenges to improve their spatial reasoning.
The younger children made dens, built block towers and marble runs as well as enjoying some estimating and measuring out in the water trays.
The older children worked on tessellations, algebraic treasure hunts and a range of outdoor challenges during their Forest School sessions.
It was a really enjoyable day with lots of active learning experiences. Our thanks go to Mrs Buckland who organised the day and made it so much fun.
