Leavers’ Service 2021

On the last day of term, we held our annual Leavers’ Service. Our thirteen Year Six children performed a poem, shared their memories of primary school and gave us a hint of what might lay in their futures. The children were watched by many of their parents who came to join the service which was held outside on the school field.

We were delighted to welcome Mr Midwood, from the Parish Council, who presented the Parish Shield to this year’s winner who has worked consistently hard and achieved great things. Well done George.

Rev. Janet presented leaving gifts to the children and we were also very grateful to the Chippy Larder who purchased special secondary school books for all of the children.

At the end of the service, the children presented leaving cards and flowers to Mrs Tomlinson and Mrs Durbin who are sadly leaving the school team after many, happy years. We will miss them very much and wish them the very best for the future.
