This week it has been a real pleasure to meet with the children who have volunteered to take on roles around the school which make a real difference to the whole community.
We now have six trained Playtime Leaders who attended an afternoon of training at Chipping Norton School and have begun their work in encouraging children to take up active choices at playtime.
We have also been able to re-introduce our Anti-Bullying Ambassadors who undertook their training last year but were unable to fulfil their real role during the Covid restrictions. This group of Year Six children will work in teams throughout the week to keep an eye on the playground, befriend anyone who looks lonely and be a listening ear to those in need.
We are very proud of our children who selflessly give their time to help others in school. Watch this space for photos of the children in action throughout the year.
