On Thursday, 5th October 2023, the whole school celebrated harvest time in St. Andrew’s church.
The children presented their food donations at the altar and these donations were taken to Polly, a local lady who feeds homeless people in the area.
The Mountains Class read a group poem which they had chosen, The Ocean Class presented a shared prayer and The Meadow and The Woodland sang a special harvest song with actions. It was a lovely service, planned and presented by the children. Our thanks go to everyone who sent in donations, Rev. Janet for leading the service and Jenny Mead who came to collect our donations and make sure that they go to the people in need.
