Harvest Celebrations 2021

posted in: School News | 0

This year, we were delighted to be able to visit the church as a whole school group and celebrate Harvest with Rev Janet. This was the first opportunity for many of our children to participate in a church service and it was lovely to be able to join together in this way.

Our service included the presentation of our Harvest collection, a seasonal poetry reading by two of our eldest children and a story by Rev. Janet about the importance of caring and sharing what we have. The children sang beautifully and then we returned to school to pack up the very large collection of food which has been kindly donated by the whole community, to send to Polly, the Hook Norton lady who cooks every day for local homeless people. Thank you so much for enabling your children to support this very worthy cause.
