The Meadow and The Woodland were very lucky to be visited by a children’s author, Sarah Hutchinson-Jarman. Sarah has written several books and her latest book, ‘Frog finds home’ is a beautiful picture book about finding the perfect spot to live.
The children were able to help Sarah tell the story of frog using props and role-play. It was great fun. At the end, all of the children were given a bookmark and some children purchased a signed copy of the book to take home.
Sarah’s work supports ‘The Lela Initiative’ – a charity set up to develop libraries in rural Uganda. The donations made for the workshop and our own fundraising will go towards supporting these projects. Thank you for your support.
