Last week it was the turn of broccoli to be defeated!
Dawn, our cook, produced raw broccoli and dips, broccoli and cheese muffins. broccoli cheese and broccoli tatter tots.
Lots of the children really enjoyed the muffins and so we have included the recipe for you below so that you might have a go at making these at home.
Broccoli and Cheese Muffins
2 tablespoons oil for greasing
240 grams flour 2 cups
3 teaspoons baking powder
1 medium egg
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon black pepper
240 ml milk/1 cup
60 ml vegetable oil
¼ cup or softened butter
1 broccoli head /1 ½ cups steamed and chopped small and
200g/2 cups cheddar cheese grated
