Easter 2023

This week we have enjoyed a special Easter service in the church, a performance of ‘Resurrection Rock’ by the Ocean Class and our traditional Easter bonnet parade and egg hunt at the village hall. It has been a very busy week!

On Wednesday evening we welcomed the children and families of The Ocean Class to listen to a performance of the Easter story through music. The children sang beautifully and enjoyed sharing their talents with the audience.

On Thursday, we processed to the village hall in an amazing array of wonderful Easter bonnets accompanied by Mrs Bell on the whistle! The rain held off and the children enjoyed collected eggs from the park before being served cake and squash from our wonderful ‘Friends’ volunteers. It was lovely to see so many parents lining the route and a great time was had by all.

Thank you to everyone for your wonderful efforts with the bonnets – they were amazing!
