On Wednesday 8th December, The Meadow and The Woodland visited the local woods to decorate the trees with edible treats for the wildlife and to enjoy a special Christmas story.
After listening to Mrs Grundy read the story of ‘Stick Man’, the children were amazed to see Father Christmas walking through the woods looking for his lost reindeer. He stopped his search to spend time chatting with the children and gave each of them a present to take home to put under their Christmas trees. He also left presents for children in Key Stage 2.
It was a wonderful afternoon of Christmas magic and we send a huge thank you to Father Christmas and also to his helpers, who prepared the woods and helped with the gifts.
