Bikeabillity 2020

We are delighted that seven of our Year Six children were able to complete their ‘bikeability’ training this week.

Bikeability teaches children to cycle safely and confidently on today’s roads (https://bikeability.dft.gov.uk/). It is a national standard set and monitored by the Department for Transport.

Some of the children who participated are pictured below.

Over the two days of the course, the children were not only able to learn how to ride their bikes safely on the road but also the importance of wearing a correctly fitting helmet. We are very grateful to the ‘Bikeability’ trainers who come into school to deliver this important work every year.

Well done to everyone who completed the course!
