This week, I had a most wonderful visit from some of our Year 6 boys and a children from Reception.
The boys came to show me a gift and card which had been sent in by a grateful parent in recognition of the support which they have been giving to one of our new children as he has been settling into new school routines.
The boys were rightly proud of themselves for making such a difference and the little boy said to us all,
‘I will be one of these big boys helping the little ones one day.’
It was a special moment and shows that our work on inclusion, our ‘No Outsiders’ agenda and our teaching around ‘The Good Shepherd’ is all part of helping to grow wonderful young people who will go out and make a difference in the world.
