On Friday 13th October, The Meadow and The Woodland classes had the privilege of spending a day at Farm Ed near Chipping Norton. Farm Ed is a working farm with a focus on sustainable crops and local produce as well as a passion to educate young people about ways to care for the land.
During the morning the children had a tour of the farm looking and learning about the cows, about planting patterns and the orchard. In the afternoon there was plenty of fun to be had doing a scavenger hunt, transient art with natural items and then looking for worms!
It was a day full of fresh air and information and we are very grateful to Heidi and Dani from Farm Ed for looking after us.
