A trip to FairyTale Farm.

On Thursday, 25th May, the children from The Meadow and The Woodland, plus our ‘good shepherds from across the school; visited FairyTale Farm in Chipping Norton. The children were invited to help the local attraction in planting a new wildflower meadow.  The trip was very kindly organised by Clare Newcome Evans and included a wonderful talk by a local beekeeper as well as the chance to get stuck into the planting and raking.

The children were able to learn all about how honey is made as well as handle some special moths. They then had the fun of walking around the park enjoying all of the animals on display.

We are very grateful to both Clare and FairyTale Farm for inviting our children to share this special day and we look forward to watching the wildflower garden develop over time.
