On Wednesday 12th July, The Ocean and The Mountains went to visit the Tower of London.
The tickets for the trip were provided free of charge by the Historic Royal Palaces Access Fund and the Friends of Rollright paid for half of the coach so we were extremely lucky to have such an amazing opportunity funded.
It was a long drive into London but there was plenty to see on the coach. Once we arrived there was a tour of the battlements, several towers to climb and the crown jewels to admire. The children had the chance to visit the shop and also took part in an interactive led session. We eventually arrived back in Rollright at 7pm very tired but having had a very exciting adventure.
