On Thursday, four of our wonderful Year 6 girls held a Bake Sale at playtime to raise money for charity. The girls spent a long time planning and advertising the event and then it was time to get baking!
Lots of children supported the event and, when every last piece of cake was eaten, the girls counted up the money and discovered that they had raised £166.00.
This is a magnificent total. Well done to everyone involved.
The girls have thought very carefully about how they would like the money they raised to be spent. They have decided to split it by buying some extra food to send to Polly who cooks hot meals for the homeless and then by donating to The Branch in Chipping Norton which helps families who need a little extra support.
