Year 4 recently enjoyed a fantastic pottery workshop at Chipping Norton School, where they had the opportunity to develop a range of clay-modelling skills. Using the coil pot technique, the children carefully shaped and constructed their own pots before transforming them into imaginative animals and creatures through their creativity and artistic flair.
Back at school, the children brought their creations to life by painting and decorating them. The workshop was a fantastic opportunity for pupils to develop their creativity and confidence while exploring a new artistic medium.
A huge thank you to CATS (Cotswold Arts Through Schools) for organising and funding this memorable experience. The children thoroughly enjoyed the workshop and were incredibly proud of their finished creations.
