The Friends of Great Rollright School is managed by a group of Trustees; however, it consists of parents, carers, staff, grandparents, and friends who collaborate to plan events and activities aimed at raising funds for the school.

These funds may either have charitable status or be allocated to cover expenses not covered by the school budget. Our primary aim remains constant: to advance pupil education and support the school community.

Everyone is welcome to come along to meetings whenever they can. Our meetings are very informal!

Examples of what we have funded

£2366 – Chrome books

£1,687.77 – weekly music lessons for KS2.

£159.98 – Early Year Equipment

£1590 – Playground Reading Hideouts

£720 was given as “Class Money” to the school.  This money goes towards some of the extras that the class teachers buy particularly for “Forest school” for the younger children and equipment in KS2 classrooms.

£300 – VR workshop for the whole school

£395 – travelling Panto.

£660 – coaches for various school trips.

£191.88 – leavers hoodies for our Y6 pupils

100 Club

The 100 club is our school lottery, by becoming a member you are fundraising for the school while being in with a chance of winning cash! Every month three cash prizes are drawn, with double winnings in the December draw. Each number is £2 per month, you can have as many as you like and family and friends can join in too!
