On Monday, 3rd February, the Eco-Committee visited Ardley ERF to learn about what happens to our waste and how we can all recycle more efficiently.
The group had a tour of the site, watched the ‘Energy recovery facility control room’ in action and had fun in the interactive exhibition hall. There was also a chance to consider ways to improve the recycling and energy-efficiency we have at school as well as taking the message home to families.
The Eco-Committee will share their learning with the rest of the school and the local community as a result of this excellent learning experience.
We are very grateful to Ardley ERF for allowing us to visit and to Mrs Keene for drving us safey there in the minibus.
