The annual Easter bonnet parade and egg hunt!

posted in: School News

One of our favourite days in the school calendar, dawned bright and sunny and everyone enjoyed the sight of the whole school parading around the village in their amazing Easter bonnets under a bright blue sky. The older children paired with the youngest to ensure that everyone was safe and happy and the procession took in the whole village as everyone played their instruments and enjoyed waving to the parents and villagers who came out to enjoy the spectacle.

After the procession, the children took part in a traditional Easter egg hunt, kindly organised by The Friends of Rollright.

After all of that activity, the children were delighted to be able to sit down with Easter cakes which were made this year by the children in The Meadow.

It was a glorious morning and a lovely Easter celebration in school which no one will forget.
