On Wednesday 14th May, 9 of our Key Stage 2 children travelled to Chipping Norton Rugby Club to take part in the annual CNS partnership Tag Rugby Festival.
The team played four matches against other local primary schools. All of the children played brilliantly giving their absolute best to the games. They worked hard to support and encourage each other as well as making excellent progress in their skills as the afternoon progressed.
The Rollright team won 3 of their 4 matches and were narrowly beaten into 2nd place overall. It was a close competition and very exciting to watch. We were very proud of all of our children and the sportsmanship they showed.
A huge thank you to Mrs Keene and Mrs Salter for providing the transport and to Mrs Buckland and Mr Juggins who accompanied the children to the event.
