On Wednesday 20th May, 12 children from Ocean and Mountain visited Chipping Norton School to take part in the Athletics tornment.
The children competed against other small schools in the Chipping Norton School Partnership. Events included the 75m sprint, 300m race, standing long jump and howler throw, with all children working together in the relay race.
We are incredibly proud of them for their teamwork, sportsmanship and athletic skills. Well done to everyone who took part, and a big thank you to Mr Juggins and Mr Wallington for their enthusiastic support and encouragement throughout.
We were thrilled to achieve 1st place in both the Year 4 and Year 6 events, which contributed to an impressive 2nd place overall.
