On Monday 11th November, the whole school came together to mark Remembrance Day in St. Andrew’s church.
Every child had made a poppy to place in the churchyard in honour of all those who have given their lives in wartime. These were placed in the grass.
Nine children from The Mountains Class led a short service with poems, prayers and readings and a two minute silence was held by all.
It was a beautiful autumnal afternoon to spend time outdoors reflecting on the selfless service of others and to offer gratitude for the safe lives that we all live here.
