Throughout 2026, we will be sharing a weekly ‘act of kindness’ in assembly, which we will all try to complete during the week. There is a display in the corridor to remind us of the kind deeds in case we forget!
Week 1 challlenge – ‘Call someone you haven’t spoken to for a little while.’
Three days into the first week of the challenge, I was visited by two members of ‘The Woodland’ who were delighted to let me know that they had phoned their grannies and made them very happy – even reducing one of the recipients to ‘happy tears’. The girls told everyone in assembly that they had met the challenge and we were all super proud of them! Both girls felt very pleased with themselves as you can see!
Please ask your children about the weekly challenge and support them in finding ways to spread a little kindness.
