This year, our Key Stage Two children invited friends and family to St. Andrew’s church for a Christmas service.
The children sang carols and performed a special Christmas poem written by a Year Six pupil and then we all enjoyed the tradition of Christingle where everyone held their decorated oranges and sang ‘Silent Night’.
The children in The Ocean Class led everyone in the prayers which they had written to reflect our school’s Christian values at Christmas.
The school choir sang, ‘In the bleak midwinter’ and the service finished with a rousing Christmas song!
