Our Harvest Service at St. Andrew’s Church

On Wednesday, 16th October, the whole school came together in St. Andrew’s church to celebrate Harvest with Rev. Janet.

We also welcomed lots of Meadow and Woodland parents to join us on this occasion which was really lovely.

The service began with the children presenting their food donations at the church altar. This food will be given to a local lady called Polly who cooks and distributes hot meals to those in need in Banbury. We are very grateful for all of the donations and know that they will be very well received.

The Year Two children presented a poem with some lovely autumnal art work and The Meadow sang a special song and signed along.

Our new choir sang a song they have been working on in their club and they performed beautifully.

The service ended with some of our Year Six children sharing some prayers. It was a joyful service and brought lots of autumnal cheer to a damp dismal day.
