It has become a bit of a tradition that Great Rollright has the most amazing book-themed competition every year and this year was certainly no exception.
The task was to make a book character using recycled materials and a staggering 79 children rose to the challenge and entered the competition.
The standard of the entries was superb and we are very grateful to everyone who took the time to join in the fun.
The models were displayed in the hall and lots of parents came to see them alongside our annual Book Sale hosted by The Book Wagon.
The competition was judged by school staff and prizes were awarded in our Celebration Assembly.
We are also delighted that 7 families chose to sponsor a beautiful new book for our school library – thank you so much.
