This week Mountains Class has taken part in a national maths competition called the Primary Maths Challenge. All children in the class were entered, and we have submitted the results to see if any of our children have been successful in getting through to the second round of the competition.
The questions on this were extremely difficult – here is a flavour of what they had to answer:
We are really proud of everyone as each individual tried their best and had a great attitude towards tackling some difficult mathematical problems.
In the first round, we were able to award the following certificates based on children’s results:
Gold: Matthew, Odin, Elfreda, Sailesh, Charlie
Silver: Poem, Aubrey
Bronze: Keira, Zayla, Isobel, Beth, Josh, Louie, Pola, Robyn
