Thank you to everyone for sending in donations of vegetables for our Harvest soup picnic’ and also for your kindness in supporting Polly who cooks for local homeless people. We had a great day on Thursday making enough soup and bread to feed everyone!
It was lovely to see some of you in church to join us in our Harvest celebrations. The children led the service with a song from The Meadow, some art work from The Woodland, a prayer from The Ocean and a reading from The Mountains. There was also a performance from the new, but mighty, school choir!
After the service, the children sat down to enjoy the result of their hard work chopping, peeling and kneading! It has been a very special autumnal celebration this year thanks to the hard work of lots of people and also your kind donations. This is the true spirit of our community at work.
