On Tuesday 25th November, we were delighted to welcome two potters to Rollright for the day courtesy of the Kingham Arts project. This is the second time that the Kingham Arts charity has funded some lovely workshops for us this term and we feel extremely lucky.
Every child was able to make a clay Christmas decoration which has gone away to be fired before being returned to school for painting and decorating.
Once the decorations are finished, they will be available for the children to take home for a small donation. Mr Jones plans to talk to the children in assembly about living with Partkinson’s Disease and all of the money raised from this project will go to support a local Parkinson’s charity – a cause which is very close to our hearts.
