This year we started our annual ‘Worship Week’ with a visit from BeSpace – an Oxfordshire based Christian charity which provides creative, interactive prayer and reflection spaces.
The BeSpace team, and a whole host of local volunteers from our community, transformed our central teaching space into a BeSpace activity area which all the children were able to visit over two days. There was a chance to say a private ‘sorry’ for a wrongdoing using invisible ink, rainbow scratch cards to show thankfulness for what we have, a chance to relax and pray and time to reflect on how we can help and improve our community.
The children embraced this opportunity and enjoyed spending time with different adults in a transformed space. We are very grateful to BeSpace for faciitating this wonderful experience and also to our volunteers from both Great Rollright and Chipping Norton. This kind of event cannot happen without the generous input of lots of people and it was joy to welcome in members of our local community to spend time in reflection with the children.
