Making your choice
If you are looking for a school for your child, we would love to tell you about what we offer. We are able to offer places to children from beyond our catchment area when we have space and we often take children who are already on their school journey and need to transfer.

Reception tours
We organise a number of pre-scheduled small-group tours in the autumn term of each year. Please click on the link to see the dates available and let us know when you would like to visit. There are lots of date choices as we only show round a few families on each visit and prefer you to see our school in action on a normal day.
Applying for a place
As a voluntary-aided church school, we set our own admissions policies, including who will get priority if there are more applications than places. (See next section.) However, the application process is handled centrally by the Oxfordshire Admissions Team.
This means all applications should be made through the county:
- to join Reception in September
- to join another year group in September
- to join any year group mid-way through a school year.

How we decide
If there are more applications than places, places will allocated in a fair and transparent way, according to a written policy decided by our governing body 18 months in advance.
Although we are a Church of England school, we do not give priority in the application process to children of any specific faith.

Appealing a decision
If your child is not allocated a place, you have a right to appeal.
To start the process, please download and complete the school’s Appeal Form, and return it to the school by email or post (click here for the school’s contact details).
Appeals will be heard by an independent panel within 30 school days of our receiving your form. More details about the timeline for appeals relating to the 2026-27 school year can be found here Admission appeals timeline 2026-27
