On Wednesday 5th February, the whole school enjoyed a day of engineering workshops, provided by Science Oxford and kindly paid for by the ‘Friends of Rollright’. Each class had an exciting opportunity to consider aspects of engineering from bridge building with K’nex to vacuum cleaner design!
The children have also had time in class to learn about famous engineering scientists as well as work in mixed age teams to complete a paper bridge challenge.
A huge thanks to Mrs Buckland for arranging the day and organising such a valuable and enjoyable set of learning experiences.
